PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:
This position is responsible for the overall success of customer projects. In addition to being responsible for supporting the administrative, scheduling, and communication-related activities for customer projects; the Project Managers are responsible for creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the associated constraints of the project of cost, time, scope, and quality.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Documents the baseline for projects, and decomposes complex work activities into manageable components.
2. Identifies project resource requirements and coordinates directly and indirectly with company staff to ensure successful completion of the project. Manages costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables.
3. Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies possible project risks. Recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate.
4. Manages project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary. Notify the management team early of potential technical, schedule, and budget overages or shortfalls.
5. Interfaces with project staff and stakeholders to manage changes to the project, which may involve changes to technical requirements, scope, cost, and schedule.
6. Provides weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reporting on project performance using best practices both internally and externally
7. Assists with the development and support of local project management group processes, procedures, and best practices
8. Challenges organizational processes that do not contribute to value delivery and illustrates better process alternatives.
9. Actively participates in and contributes to the continuous improvement and evolution of processes, methodologies, and tools within the organization.
10. Support the development of project management tools and document best practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2. Bachelor’s degree, Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
3. 3-5 years of Project Management Experience in design, build, and commission, preferably in the Material Handling industry.
4. Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects simultaneously to keep projects on course
5. Ability to simply communications of complex projects to effectively convey task assignments, milestones, work breakdown structures, and critical paths
6. Skill in demonstrating excellence through inclusion, teamwork, collaboration, knowledge transfer/training, and positive working relationships
7. Ability to motivate and deliver results
8. Self-starter / Team leader / Mentor / Coach
9. Flexible and adaptable to different environments
10. Able to use situational leadership ( or Transformational leadership) skills to work collaboratively and influence key stakeholders
11. PMP certification required or be willing to test for certification within 12 months of hire date.
